I don't know for sure, but consider that the power sidecar was intended to be the first sidecar in the chain--it should be passing through all lines in use.

I use the two together without a problem. My sidecars (starting from the main unit) are Power, Speech, LPT1, LPT2, then jrIDE.

It's definitely under the disk drive and will be marked with "8088." Hopefully yours is socketed. You're in good hands with Chuck.

No direct experience here, but I have been looking into it and so far unwilling to make the investment. I installed three switches and reassembled it. Getting the floppy drive plastic to pop back into place was a pain.
