I remember we had a version of The Print Shop but I'm not sure if it was the original or the "New" version when we had our Jr and it worked fine. Our Jr was a Racore upgraded version so if it was the "New" version we might have run it with the PCJr/PC switch in PC compatible mode...

Is it not reading disks at all or is it not reading disks from other drives? I have had drives go out of alignment where they cant read disks from other drives but can read disks that are formatted on them and read them just back fine. I dont know for me the PCJr was my 1st computer so everything else was weird...

Shouldnt be a problem I had a PCJr that had a TEAC FD-55B drive replaced for the original and it worked fine.

Again like the prototype, this has a generic QumeTrak 142 diskette drive with no IBM logo and a different handle style.

I just saw a drive like that sell on ebay 12 days ago.... I was confused because I had never seen a qumetrak 142 with that type of handle and face plate.
