Tandy sound modification
Hi. Can anyone here outline to me how to perform the Tandy sound modification on my PCjr? I understand that it is simply a matter of re-routing the sound chip output. I recently acquired Battle Chess but I have no sound when running it in Tandy mode...

Tandy modification complete
Well I finally got the chance to perform the Tandy modification and so far tested it on FS3 and Silent Service II both of which work great with the Tandy option. Ultima V however does not automatically recognize Tandy mode and will lock up if forced to use that mode. Same issue with Gunship and Shin...

I did the memory upgrade to an IBM sidecar, and I can vouch that it was a delicate and very time consuming operation, specifically the desoldering of the old chips using a combination of soldering pencil, braid and vacuum pump.
