I am going to chime in here a bit late in the game and I read through the first 5 or 6 pages here so I may be a bit out of date. I think that a sidecar would be a good idea. One that has IDE and RAM in it at the minimum. Ethernet would probably be next in the list (as others have said). I would have...

Hi there everyone!
I got my hands on 2 PCjr systems with some interesting add-ons and I am having some fun playing with them.
Anyways, hopefully I can learn some more stuff from you guys and I try to tweak these machine.

Thanks, Mike. I did a search, and the only thing I found was a vague reference to eliminiating the power supply by jumpering the 5 VDC on the sidecar. Let me know if anything else turns up (I also found the Tecmar PDF, it says 5 V, but gives no other adapter spec's). Thanks again, John Did you work...
