Re: New to the Group and IBM PCJr But on my way . . .
Same for the Southeast/Atlanta. I need to trim my JR collection. I have 2 monitors and 5-6 system units I need to part with to cut my collection by about half. I think I'm only going to hold onto the Quadram and Legacy double decker units + 2 more for testing / normal use w/ monitors. I have 6-7 lar...

Re: jrIDE - time for another production run?
It looks like "Connector People" have them in-stock. I'm guessing they bought the previous NOS back inventory. Minimum order is 6 for the male type. $10.44 for the pair https://www.connectorpeople.com/Connector/TYCO-AMP-TE_CONNECTIVITY/5/532773-2 https://www.connectorpeople.com/Connector/T...

Re: jrIDE - time for another production run?
So all the previous kits/boards from the last run are sold/shipped. I've ordered parts for another 10. I'm not selling anymore kits. I'm going to list the 10 new board on eBay next week. ATM, I am down to 20 side-car connectors - 10 after next week's batch. It's possible State Electronics may have m...

Re: jrIDE - time for another production run?
I'm trying to stream-line the process a bit and communication methods slow it down. So I'm going to start listing everything on eBay periodically. https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-JR-IDE-expansion-board-for-IBM-4860-PCjr/193020671511 Also note that after this batch, I only have about 20 side-car connect...

Re: jrIDE - time for another production run?
They are. I have a new batch kitted and some assembled and tested. I've just been behind this weekend on getting the emails out. I'll do that within the day. The IDE interface is memory mapped so no conflicts. The BIOS hooks Int 13h and provides handling of drives 80h/81h. So if you only have one dr...

Re: Howdy y'all!
Hi Raymond. Just curious after watching DJ and Clints' vids. There were a lot of Jr system units at Computer Reset. Were any NIB? And if so, any of those left? JR-IDE fulfills most of my Jr needs. But I have a NIB 5150, 5170, Compaq Portable, and Tandy 2K. A Jr would fit right in. Welcome and hope w...

Re: IBM Compact Printer video (Watch it Print!)
For bonus points try to identify all of the stuff on the workbench. ;-0 I spy with my little eye: - Analog film canisters (wtf?) - 6 PC miniature models (you have a problem) - jr-PSU uninstalled (why do I bother?) - Zip disks - What looks to be a keytronic numeric keypad for the JR - A late model L...
