Those Gonbes units are not that great, they are rather noisy line doublers and require the CGA2RGB DAC. This is a superior solution : https://youtu.be/9SII7ujB3FY
The ideal solution for a modern LCD is the Open Source Scan Converter (OSSC) combined with the GCLabs CGA2RGB DAC.

Re: Cartridge games on floppy!
Hi gents, I was excited to find this disk image to test out on my new PCjr -- but upon trying to load any of the carts from the menu, the computer locks up after a few seconds of loading. (While still displaying the cartridge selection list.) My PCjr is a 128k Model B -- I wasn't able to find any m...

Re: Examples of benefits from bi-directional parallel port m
Ethernet receives a huge benefit from the mod. Most of the time, you will be adding stuff to your PC from another system. The transfer to the PCjr is almost twice as slower as the transfer from the PCjr. without the mod. A parallel port ethernet adapter like Xircom PE3-10BT works well with the PCjr'...

Cool looking boards. A part of me wishes he put some extra material on the ends so you could permanently mount them to the case using a drill and some screws

Re: Tandy Video Mod
I am wondering if anyone else has problems with their mod on some PCjr programs. Notably, I have noticed that Colorpaint doesn't display properly on my jr with the mod performed. Of course, there could always be an issue with the mod I did, but it seems that most everything else I've tried with it ...

IBM came out with an official adapter that converted the pins from the BERG-style row headers to a standard DE-9 female for the IBM 5153 PC Color Display and similar monitors.

Re: Best way to capture video/audio of the PCjr
The ideal way to capture video from CGA, PCjr., Tandy or 200-line EGA would be to use a GCLabs digital RGBI to analog RGB converter, then an Open Source Scan Converter and finally an HDMI capture card capable of at least 720p/60fps.
