Booter disks no longer loading? Possible jrIDE issue?
Hi folks, I just recently tried playing a booter game on my jr., and much to my dismay, after the loading of the jrIDE bios and selecting the A: drive as the boot source, it comes back with only one message, "Disk Error". This happens with all of my booter disks, and it never did before. I...

Getting 400k EA booters onto 360K disks
Hi guys, I've been having a hell of a time trying to figure out a way to get the 400k .img files from Demonoid's Retrograde Station to 360k disks, which apparently should be possible with the right kind of software. Well, I tried using ANADISK to format a 360k disk with 10 sectors instead of 9, only...

Re: Jingle Disk
FOUND IT! After doing some more digging I found a message board where some guy was hosting an ftp site with various vintage Christmas software. I was able to grab a copy of it from there. EDIT: I'm an idiot. That "guy" hosting the FTP site was Trixter! If you're reading this, thanks for th...

Re: Jingle Disk
Yeah, it's out there somewhere. LGR did a video about Jingle disk and actually shows the 1985 version, which shows the opening with the jack in the box, which is exactly how I remember the disk I used to have opening. You can check it out here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUnb-AoFyTY.

Jingle Disk
Does anyone out there happen to know where I can track down the original 1985 version of Jingle disk? The only image I can seem to find online is the 1986 version, but they removed a lot of the animations from that one I'm more nostalgic for the 85 version anyway because that's the one I had growing...

Re: Definitive jr-IDE compatibility list?
In case anybody at home is keeping score, I was able to acquire a copy of DOS 3.3 off of ebay for a very reasonable price, was able to format the CF card in FAT, thereby enabling Windows 10 to see it, moved over img2dsk and the patched DOS 5 disk image, create a bootable floppy from it, and start al...
