Surely Not Ideal, but worse case if this is just a play unit,
you can tack a ribbon cable on the bottom side of the board and have it fold out the back side with the
needed pins on a molex connector and just hang off the back side.

Jason.. You need the Floppy controller hooked to the Drive at boot up..... Does the Drive Spin ? if it is sticky you will need to clean.....'carefully' also if you have spare drives laying around, remove the belt for storage :) If memory serves me H error is diskette controller or Drive issue B Erro...

thanks Jim... Yes played with TP7 all weekend, wow what a step up from TP3 & 4... the Mouse interface is really useful for block copy etc.....much nicer than just keyboard of course.. and the multiple file open is great, (shame we are limited to 25 lines...) I have been on the hunt for some RS23...

just loaded Borlands Turbo Pascal 7.0 on the JR-IDE.. One thing I found, that is not mentioned in the install instructions, was to make a directory that you want to store your run files like TP7, then create a temp directory on your HD, then copy all 4 disks to that directory. I have looked thru the Tech manual , and may have missed it, but did not find how much
current the Side car(s) can pull on both the (2ea) 5V pins and the (1ea) 12V pin.
To Clarify, what can the JR (source) out the side car connector without pulling down the System Power or making it noisy..

First, Need to give Alan his prop's it is his design, I just picked up the slack and helping make these for the folks since I do this stuff also easy enough to make... I am also redoing the JRIDe board, with SMT parts, as I needed a couple more for my JR systems so I figured I'd just do a new layout...
