IBM Advertising from the PC Era

I've been cleaning and organizing my paper documentation and floppy disks ... you know that if you inherit a lot of systems it can get overwhelming. Here are two gems that I took some time to scan and clean up, for your enjoyment of course.

IBM advertising: When will YOU start to use a computer? (12MB)

This one is just terribly humorous .. somebody should have been fired for it. (The tone IBM takes with their prospective customers is ridiculous.)

IBM PCjr 12 page advertising booklet, late 1984 or 1985 (25MB)

This advertisement was done after the PCjr went through a big round of price cutting. By this time IBM is pointing out how expandable a PCjr is, which is funny given the criticism the machine was given for not being expandable compared to the original IBM PC.

Both have been OCRed so that you can search the text in them. Share and enjoy!
