Price Check on Rare PCjr Carts

Postby Tempest » Thu Apr 30, 2015 8:07 am

Not sure if this belongs in the Sale forum or Software. I'll start here I suppose.

I have a chance to trade some PCjr stuff for an Exidy Sorcerer computer (what can I say, I have a thing for obscure computers). However I have absolutely no idea what to ask for my stuff since I bought it so long ago and I'm sure the prices have changed since then. I was hoping that someone here could give me a rough estimate on what I should be asking.

Demon Attack (loose) - One went for $35 recently on ebay. Not sure if that's average or not.
Pitfall II (complete in box) - Got this for $20 years ago when someone was selling off NOS
River Raid (complete in box) - Same for this. I've seen a few Pitfall II's since then but not another boxed River Raid.

I'm no expert, but the loose Demon Attack sounds right. As for the others, those are uncommon to find in box; so, me personally, I'd consider them worth at least $50 each if the condition is excellent, $40 if a little banged up.

Does this mean you are exiting our little hobby, as IBM did 30 years ago? (Damn, missed the March 19th anniversary!)

No no no. I'm just trading some things I don't need to get something I've always wanted. I think All the cartridge games are on disk now anyway aren't they?
