Hi all,
I have three PS/2 to PCjr keyboard converters left (my own design and construction) that I would like to sell. I am pricing these at $30 apiece, with $3 flat-rate bubble mailer shipping within the contiguous United States (if you are outside the contiguous 48 or want an upgrade to a cardboard box, I'll have to quote you). I posted a thread up in the For Sale section already, but it's not getting much attention so I thought I'd post here as well.
I will likely not make another batch of these unless there's a significant amount of interest, but as a reminder I have schematics and source code (aside from the PCB layouts) published here if anyone wants to make their own:

It's not a hard circuit to wire up, but if you want something that looks a little bit more professional, consider one of my pre-built units!

Thanks for considering!

Re: Three PS/2 to PCjr keyboard converters left.
Interesting.
I guess that the "62-key to 83-key translation code" (int 0x48) from BIOS is still being executed (unless you install your own handler).
So I wonder what is the key that maps to the "Fn" in a 102-key keyboard.... all those keyboard shortcuts should still be working on the 102-key keyboard.

I am translating the PS/2 scan codes to PCjr native scan codes in the software for this device. Since F11 and F12 don't have an equivalent on the PCjr, I chose to map F12 to Fn.riq wrote:Interesting.

For anyone on the fence, I have one and I covet it, it works great. Many thanks for the project!
You're all insane and trying to steal my magic bag!
Re: Three PS/2 to PCjr keyboard converters left.
I'll get one then. Thanks. @jmetal88 I'll send you a PM.

Alright, that's one unit gone, and one not gone but spoken for, so I guess that's one left!

And we're sold out! Thanks everyone!
I'll keep a waiting list for anyone else interested and start a new batch of I get at least five people on it.
