FlashParty - demo party - PCjr entries are welcome

Post by riq »

Hi,

We are organizing a demo party, that is going to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Dates: September 21,22,23.
Although the party is focused mostly on the traditional retro platforms (C64, amiga, etc.), PCjr entries are welcome. In fact we are coding a PCjr demo that we are going to present in this party.
My opinion is that the PCjr is nice platform to code intros/demos for:
- 3 voices + noise sound
- 16-color video modes
- 8088-based

What else do you need ? :-)

Remote entries are welcome.
More info about the party here: http://flashparty.dx.am/

Hopefully Trixter and/or any other demo-scener can submit a PCjr entry as well.

Sorry, I'm semi-retired. But I'm very happy to see you're accepting remote PCjr entries :-D
You're all insane and trying to steal my magic bag!

here is the invite intro for the party that runs in pcjr.
the code is kind of lame... just uncompressing some images, and just that. for the sake of contributing, here it is:
