New PCJR Speech board design, need Input !

I was thinking using the connector opening on the back where the modem phone line was inserted and position an standard RCA connector there.
Jumper selectable on board for the Speaker output or Audio Line out, and there is the on-board speaker the can be jumpered off if desired...

What is the advantage of using the Jr audio jack? I think I missed Mikes point, sorry...
