So I'm packing up my Jr into the IBM suitecase to bring it to VCF East.
A question about the case. Most of the surfaces that "touch" the Jr are not foam coated. Should I be concerned about it scratching my cosmetically perfect PCJr? Seems that IBM should have put some padding in there.
What are people's experience?
Thanks,
Corey
PCJr suitcase question.
Re: PCJr suitcase question.
Do you have any of the foam? It should be well-protected. Example: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/ ... 2/$_35.JPG
Re: PCJr suitcase question.
The foam is on the side where the side cars are so that the case can adjust for up to three cars and on the top lid. Everything else is designed to snap in. The keyboard snaps upside down into the case and the Jr on top which snaps into place. So you can't even really put a thin foam on it. That was my concern that the snapping in could damage the paint. I guess I'll find out.
