jrIDE - time for another production run?

Post by Brutman »

There have been some inquiries about jrIDE kits. The last I remember is that none are available at the moment. Please express your interest here and we can gauge interest to see if it is time for another production run.

(Alan - are you out there? If this is horrible timing just provide me the bulk order parts list and I can do the kitting this time around.)

I lurk periodically. I have been getting a few requests. The main blocking item is side-car connectors. I do not have time to shake the tree on old sources to get more.

I would love to snag one from another run. I'd be willing to sacrifice an original board to steal the sidecar connector from it.

I am planning on making my order this week, but not in that quantity. If Jim's supplier works for me too then that will be a verified good source.

Additionally, I would prefer to build it myself for what that's worth.

The "ConnectorPeople" site referenced elsewhere on this forum does appear to still have the sidecar connectors in-stock. I saw that the minimum order was a bit of an issue, it looks like someone would need to buy 3 connectors to make the minimum order.

If you point me to the supplier, I'll attempt to buy them out of side car connectors (up to a few hundred). I don't want to go through this exercise again for batch #4.

I'll send an email with the details tonight. Just let me get my small order in first ;-)

I mean, I'll buy there inventory out so it doesn't disappear on us. And sell them at cost one-sy two-sy.
