Happy to take a completely built unit instead of the kit, if you have one, what ever is easier for you Alan. :0)

Any availability on these still?

Also, what memory ranges does it use?

I'd like to try one of these on my Unicorn Jr to back up the 10MB Tandon TM-252 hard drive to a CF card, but need to make sure there's no conflict between the two.

Thanks,

Raymond

They are. I have a new batch kitted and some assembled and tested. I've just been behind this weekend on getting the emails out. I'll do that within the day.

The IDE interface is memory mapped so no conflicts. The BIOS hooks Int 13h and provides handling of drives 80h/81h. So if you only have one drive on each, you should have no conflicts.

Thanks! How do I order one? I'm assuming you do PayPal.

I'm trying to stream-line the process a bit and communication methods slow it down. So I'm going to start listing everything on eBay periodically.

Also note that after this batch, I only have about 20 side-car connectors left. So after that, I'm done. Not building any new boards.

I also have 2 kits for $75 if you want to build your own. The side-car connectors are pre-mounted (press-fit) and all parts pre-programmed. Send me a PM if interested in the kits. After those, I'm only doing assembled and tested boards on eBay. I've only sold 4 kits out of 180 so far and 2 of those have come back with horrendous soldering jobs. So not my fav..

Thanks, ordered!

I hadn't found any sidecar connectors at CR. If I do, I'll let you know.

Well that was quick. Sold 8 boards in 2 hours. I have 1 parts kit left and will be ordering more parts this week.

What can I say... I posted the link to the eBay auction to the IBM PCjr Users' Group on Facebook.
