Gamepad hacks?

Are there any hacks for the PCjr to adapt a gamepad with a gameport conenctor to the Jr's joystick port?
Game pads are usually "digital", in that the buttons are either pressed or they are not. The PCjr joysticks are analog, so instead of just saying "pressed" or "open" they report a value within a set range based on resistance. I don't think it would be useful if you did it, as nothing running on a Jr expects a joystick to behave like a gamepad.
