Hi Guys: I'm Elmer
I'm sort of a Johnny-come-lately to this forum but I have a long history with the PCjr. I worked at IBM during the time of the big PCjr sales and literally everyone and his brother was getting or already had one or more jrs. During that period, both before and after I retired, I had a small business consisting almost exclusively of the jr. I did a lot of the mods and upgrades as well as repairs. I also worked closely with two gentlemen, Louie and Phil, who headed up the Eugene PCjr club. They single-handedly prolonged the service life of the Jr by at least 50%.
I don't have any PCjr stuff currently. I've moved several times and I guess I just shed some baggage along the way. Not that jr is baggage <Grin> All I have left are a bunch of NewsLetters and some technical manuals. Would be pleased to hear from any of that era.
