I definitely did a lot of programming in Turbo Pascal 3.x - it works really well on the PCjr. Unfortunately, it didn't support the graphics or sound capabilities of the PCjr, but I think there were third-party libraries for the Tandy 1000 that might work.

They are nice; I have one and really like it.

CIB but not sealed for $14 shipped! Trying to get more of IBM's software from that time period that used the same theme on the packaging. I have a decent amount of software with that IBM packaging. Some of it I have from when it was new, so perhaps it's nostaglia, but I really like the way it looks...

I do really like that build. Wouldn't mind having that on my desk!

Does GEM support the 16 color PCjr graphics modes, or are you stuck with the 4 color standard CGA modes?

Right now I'm playing with the Composite video output to an LCD monitor and I'm seeing very similar results to you. I also find it interesting that the IBM color bar BIOS screen seems fine, but when you boot DOS it gets wonky.

Going MODE BW40 looks pretty good on it.

The jrIDE wasn't identifying any name for the DOM at all - it was blank. It definitely looks the problem is the DOM. I've tried two old Maxtor IDE drives I had laying around and, and it correctly identified them both. Right now the problem I have is I'm using PC-DOS 3.3, and it's version of FDISK wo...
