Aha! Well, I never got beyond floppies. I forget that many folks turned their Jr's into "real" computers. Pretty cool!

I was able to run DOS 5 on mine, with 640k no problem, though no real reason to do so

Back in the day, and that was the '80's, I was able to run GEM back then and if I remember correctly, with that 128k ram disc in the bottom of memory, run the machine at full speed with enough room to run GEM Publisher in the remaining 512k. Old PCJr floppies - toss?
Hi... We're cleaning up the house too. I still have the tricked-out PCJr boxed up but also a box full of 5.25in floppies from the PCJr era. It's been a long time since I had the Jr out, and at that time every floppy I tried was unreadable. I presume that the floppies themselves can't even be re-used...
