Making a keyboard cable

So, I needed a second keyboard cable and only had one. Making one didn't seem like that much of a challenge, so i dug through the junk box for an extra modular phone cable and a single row Jameco socket (part # 308592) designed to mount on a printed circuit board. A little solder, an Xacto knife, and some time studying the pinouts and I came up with this:

It isn't pretty and there isn't any strain relief, but it works!

Reminds me of what I made to attach a standard serial mouse to the port on the back of my PCjr, haha.
