Say hello here!

Hello from shackspace.

Hey there!
my name is Michael and I'm just saying hello from shackspace; the hackerspace in Stuttgart, Germany.
I do not have a PCjr and to be honest, I haven't heard about it till two days ago.

Anyways, we just used mTCP to hook our freakin' awesome SMT-Pick 'n place machine up to the internet (Fritsch placeALL 908.580). Especially the FTP-server is very useful to us because the machine had only a floppy drive for data exchange. It's truly a great addition! :)

At this point, let's call it a day and good night!

Forgive me, I'm a little late in replying ..

When I first saw the post I was unfamiliar with the concept of hacker spaces. In major cities in the US I'm sure that exists, but I am in the equivalent of an arctic cornfield here - we have more tractors than people.

The picture of the pink 'n place machine running IRCjr was priceless to me - I joined the IRC channel looking for it, but I suspect the machine has better things to do than to run IRC all day. :-) Feel free to email me directly if you need something else in the FTP server.
