The Electronic Library

Has anyone seen a program called The Electronic Library? I picked up this disk along with the Store Name Customizer disk and some instructions this weekend. I guess it's supposed to be a running demo that shows off some PCjr software, but sadly I couldn't get it to work. It loaded the first screen that said PLEASE WAIT and then the disk drive ran forever never reading the disk. This could mean the disk is bad, or more than likely a product of either my flaky disk drive or incompatibility with the DOS version (says it wanted 2.10 but all I had hand was 3.30). The program also needs the BASIC cartridge plugged in, so it possibly could have had problems with the JRIDE somehow. I'll have to try unhooking it later and see if that helps.

Can you dump both disks to image files on another computer and upload them somewhere? My PCjr is out this month and set up on a table next to me, so I can give it a shot.

Are you going to be at VCF Midwest? I can bring them there for dumping if you want.

I'll bring them for sure. I'll go stick them in 'The Pile'
