JrConfig Configuration and Other Questions

I'm guessing the original version had an install program that only copied the correct files for the machine chosen, and that whoever uploaded the online copy just used their installed copy, instead of copying the installation disk.

As long as I have your attention, I have another question. When I turn on PCjr and it goes through its normal start up sequence and the text is very bright (which I like). However when it comes to the part where jrConfig loads and it does a soft reset and loads again, the text is suddenly half as bright. What causes this and is there a way to keep the text brighter?

That's something DOS does, setting the text to grey instead of white. Unless you can find some external utility to change the color back to white in AUTOEXEC, I can't think of any way to change it back to white without using ANSI.SYS and manually entering escape codes.
