I think most people would rather get a kit with everything from one place (I know I do). If you want 20 connectors to make that many kits, that's fine with me. I just wanted to get the ball rolling on another run of boards.

Selling you 20 only leaves 5 for the others who expressed an interest in sidecar connectors. If there is a demand, I'll go back to M.S.Hi-Tech and see about more. The part with all the pins came packaged 5 to a bag, so maybe we can order in that quantity. Will those who wanted connectors let me know if they are still interested and how many are wanted?

The transistors sound like a good change. The CF adapter really doesn't interest me since I still have a couple DOMs that plug directly into the connector on the back. Perhaps others may feel differently.

I'll order a new run of boards this weekend. Typically takes 2.5 weeks to get them in. I will have parts by then. I'll PM you directly about the connectors.

Boards are in, connectors in, parts in, and everything kitted up and pre-programmed. I'm ready to start sending them out. The connectors went up a couple dollars since last time and the rest of the parts kit did too. It $85 complete shipped anywhere in US (USPS flat rate box). Approx $12.50 for connector, $20 for PCB, $47.50 for Mouser/Digikey order and misc, and $5 for shipping. Both PLDs and the flash is pre-programmed. I'm not offering any assembly option. However that will allow them to be shipped next day since all the part are already bagged up and ready.

I'd be glad to assemble kits for the people that want them assembled. I have a semi-nice (but cheap) digital temperature-controlled soldering station now that should make it pretty simple (if time-consuming) work to complete. Also, I'm one of the guys that got to assemble and keep one of the initial prototypes, so I have the fact that I've put one together before (and it worked on the first try) going for me, too, haha.

I'd have to think about what I'd charge for my work, though. It's not something I usually give much consideration to, but these do have a ton of solder points on them, so they take a while to put together.

(Due to some PMs:) Yes I realize some of these parts can be obtained cheaper. I (quickly) sourced gold platted headers, the same speed grade PLDs as before to make sure there are no new bugs, and the same RAM capacities (even though I think 128KB/512KB should work). I'll sell just the PCB and connector to those interested in sourcing the rest yourselves for $37.50 (shipping included). Just be aware the PLDs need programming. You can program them using a parallel port and Altera compatible ByteBlaster 2 cable from eBay/China (~$15). I will not split the parts bags up as they are already binned, pre-programmed, and ready to go.

Even after this run is over or for those more adventurous, small runs in quantities of 3 can be easily made by ordering boards direct from OSHPark. There site is very easy to use. Once I have the SVN site back (long story), you can upload the Eagle files directly to OSHPark and hit order now. Takes about 2.5 weeks.
