A theoretical question
I know that the PSU of the Jr is only capable of supporting so many sidecars before additional power is required. Would it be possible, in theory at least, to use a more powerful PSU and have the power carry through the sidecar bus to support more sidecars than the standard PSU can handle?
Re: A theoretical question
Not only is it theoretical but it has been done. PC Enterprises had a power supply that sat in a Drive II assembly and plugged in to the PCjr power slot. I have also heard of people adapting XT power supplies to do the same. I would think a ATX power supply could be jumpered to turn it on and and adapter attached also.
