FYI.... new motherboards

Post by geoffdaddy »

Just in case anyone was wondering, I just verified with Sears Parts Direct that brand-new motherboards are available for the low low price of $290!

They had a few odd parts that were intriguing that I tried to see what the availability was (test plug, post plug), that was the only thing I checked on that they still had.

Wonder why they're slowly dying? Must cost a fortune housing all those obsolete parts in warehouses. :)

Well, that's depressing.

On the flipside, if you really REALLY want a new-old-stock part, there is a known place to get one.
