The main advantage of the speed up board is it makes the late '80s games that still supported the PCjr video, specifically some Sierra ones and the Tandy 1000 games, more playable. The latter assuming you have a Tandy mod. With the Sierra games, the AGI games play well with a Standard PCjr but the SCI ones only run acceptably with the jrExcellerator. I have not had any issues except some very early PC games that run too fast,e.g. Killer Bees, Bouncing Babies
