File Copy System

Post by Chuckphd53 »

Trying to remember, is there a program, ie. file copy type that lets you select files and directories and copy them to another source?

Moving back to DOS makes you appreciate the drop and drag of windows.

I have a lot of stuff on zip and would like to move it to a hard drive, now using the JR-IDE...

Having to create directories and then do copy *.* is sooooo tedious...

maybe XCopy or something better

anyone ?

Oh and if you have a solution, hopefully is available for download...

XCOPY has switches that let you copy whole directory trees, but everything in the tree with no ability to be selective. A package like PCTOOLS may allow you to do what you want.
Enhanced PCjr with a jr-IDE (1GB DOM) and a parallel port side car with a compact flash reader and backpack 1.44mb floppy attached. Tandy video mod.
