Today my PCjr started giving the error at bootup "E8ERRORG" sometimes in a string "E8ERRORGE8ERRORGE8ERRORG".
I have a JrIDE and its worked fine for a month or so. What is this error, cant seem to find documentation explaing what e8 or error G refer to

Edit: Checked guide to operations page 6-17 and all it says is for errors A D G or X have your system serviced.. So thats useless.

Re: PCJR started giving Error "E8ERRORG"
Error G indicates a CRC error in cartridge ROM address space, and E8 tells you the segment.
If you have a cartridge plugged in, try re-seating it and cleaning the contacts.

Thank you, I will try cleaning the contacts and reseating the cartridge.
