At long last I've completed my collection of the IBM assistant series. I used IBM Writing Assistant on my Jr pretty regularly from around 1988 through 1995 when I finally broke down and upgraded to a windows machine. Been hunting for the other programs since I got my Jr out of storage and set back up a few years ago. I pieced together Filing assistant and Graphing assistant a while back via e-bay and a Facebook group and recently scored the other 3 and IBM software I didn't even know existed "Electric Poet" thanks to the generosity of user on this group. Proud to have them all on display in my computer/radio room

I was going to question your sense of style with those manuals so nicely lined up, and then I saw the workbench and realized that I am among friends ...
On a more serious note, Electric Poet is new to me. I have to read up on that.
Are you interested in printing some JPGs on that lovely thermal printer? I've got some code for you ...

I'm also a huge fan of the Assistant series, and I've also been working on collecting the other parts of the "Suite". Electric Poet is new to me, too!

I do have some duplicates but not of electric poet. The disks were unfortunately bad but I have found an image on the internet archives and attempting to re-image it is on my list. What assistant series components are you missing perhaps I will have it among the duplicates? I received the bulk of them in a most generous fashion and would prefer to redistribute them in the same fashion.
Any advise on what type of adhesive to use for re-attaching 5.25 floppy disk labels? Some just came off on their own and I would like use the original labels for re-imaged disks as well. I am guessing some form of double sticky tape would be my best bet or maybe there is a better solution?
I would love to print stuff on the thermal printer please do point me in the direction of these programs and .jpg's! I've read the compact printer on the main website and have appreciated your pics of the printouts you've done. I've been struggling to get word processing, printshop, etc. to use the printer but have printed some stuff through BASIC so it does function and communicate with the Jr. ok. I probably didn't have the mode command formatted correctly or I've also speculated my rapport 2nd disk drive, combo cart, or some other add-on disables the automatic LPT1 assignment I have been hearing about. Otherwise COM ports are not an option in most of programs printer setup. Not sure what exactly is my problem but that struggle has been put on the back burner for now. I was also advised to try PrintMaster Plus (as apposed to PrintMaster) because it has an appropriate option for the thermal printer.
