A new type of video out failure

In taking inventory of my PCjrs (turns out I have five, although two are extremely sick), I came across a type of failure I haven't seen before. Common problems with PCjrs are floppy drive issues, the occasional bad RAM chip, etc. but this weekend I found a PCjr that is 100% working in every way except there is no color on the analog video RCA output. You get luma only, so it's like working with a B&W monitor. Display port on the back connected to an RGB monitor works fine.

A visual inspection didn't turn up anything, but I didn't follow any traces because I don't yet have the equipment to do so. I'm curious, has anyone seen this before?
