I had the same issue on my Gotek. To solve, I created a blank 360k floppy image and used IMG2DSK to burn the original jrcart4.img onto the blank disk image. Don't ask me why but it then worked perfectly from the newly created disk image. You should be able to use any DOS disk image utility to do this.

Also, it's worth noting, I had to do the same thing to get an image of King's Quest that boots from the Gotek.

All these issues leave me thinking that my PCjr is somehow spotty, but I'm realizing that it's just a Pcjr.

Just want to chime in on this thread to say wow, this is fantastic. I have always wanted to play Pitfall II on the Jr but never figured I would ever be able to find the cartridge. Kudos for putting this together I am happy to have version 4 as part of my floppy collection
