He did get it done a lot faster that I could have done. Sounds like Trixter has a nice scanner.

In the video you can see how it ingests IBM binder-style documentation like it was build expressly for doing so. The output produced in that video can be examined here:

My next purchase will be a ScanSnap SV600 for scanning things that I can't destroy, although I've very dubious that the results will be acceptable due to the low DPI. I'll be purchasing it from a place with a return policy, naturally.
