I am trying to run Thexder from DOS 3.3 with JRCONFIG loaded and nothing else resident. It comes up in a weird character-based video mode. The game actually plays and has 3-voice music, but it's not very enjoyable in this mode. I don't think there are any command line switches (at least not documented that I could find). Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Thexder requires 32K video RAM; what does your CONFIG.SYS look like? It should have a -v32 in the JRCONFIG line.
