That ebay auction appears to be the PC version, not the PCjr version. But thanks for letting me know.

Tempest: If it comes to that, then sure, we can dump the ROM and image the disks -- in half a year ;-)

Alan: It says I have no PMs...?

I have an electric desk cart, this was from KenG... it has 2each 32kb roms in it 27256. so 64Kb ttl

I dumped the front end of each ROM , there is no 55 AA so this must be a 'run with floppy' version..

( Mike/Jim, figured I post this here, )

I found a copy of ED V1.11 on winworldpc.com, installed on the JR-ide hard drive and ran it but Pretty sure it did not need the cart.

this is all I know about it..

I'm glad you figured out what it is. Now that I know what it is, I checked the diskettes I got with it. Two were labeled EDCOLOR. They look like they were supposed to be bootable, but both have a bad first sector. I discovered that when I imaged them using Mike's dskimage program. The disks have data on them from the previous owner, so I just copied the two files that seemed important onto a fresh diskette. Those two files are EDBW.exe and EDCOLOR.BAT. When either one is executed, they complain of a missing cartridge. I will send you the diskette and the manual to the Mouser cartridge as soon as I get a chance. Then you should have two working cartridges for your collection.

There was also a floppy version for PC/XT. Does anyone know if that version will work on a Jr?

I have the Floppy versions and they do work ok..

Also Ken sent me his version of Cart software to test with the ED Cart and it worked also,
so both flavors seem to be workable....

I downloaded the ED floppy version from WINWORLDPC.com
