PCjr on a VGA Monitor?

I think this has been discussed before, but I'll ask again: Is it possible to use a PCjr with a VGA monitor? I thought someone was developing a solution for it (maybe as part of a new JrIDE?) but that's the last I heard of it.

Interesting. I have a spare GBS, but I don't have any of the other parts and it looks like they'd be kind of pricey to acquire. I guess I'll stick with what I have for now.

Forgive my ignorance here, but why is that separate DAC board needed? The PCjr outputs CGA (or a CGA superset anyway) and the GBS converts CGA (among other things) to VGA on its own.

The PC version of CGA is digital. The GBS works with analog form of CGA.

Ah, gotcha.
