Hi Guys, Can the small power supply be used with a 3.5 & 5.25 disk drive together? Will it fry or anything ? Thanks!

I don't think that would be a good idea. You either need to power the second drive externally or have it in an expansion chassis that has it's own supply. When I did it, I put a 720K 3.5" drive in my Quadram chassis. Now I have a jrIDE and use a parallel port 1.44mb drive.

Ken, Thanks for the reply. I boot from the 3.5 floppy and wanted to add the 5.25 on top in case I had any 5.25 disks to copy. It came with a long power supply, but a component on it is leaking. It was damaged in travel I think.
The external 3.5 microsolutions drive doesn't have the driver on 5.25 floppy. If I put back the 5.25, how do I get the driver on my jrIDE? Just thinking. Thanks!

I get my floppy disks from here -

the component that leaked was a simple inline inductor, green wax came out..
I just fixed mine today,,,
easy fix, take it off the board, unsolder 4 points, need a good sized iron tip.
clean the board and using a small wood or plastic strip, try to get as much of the green wax out of the coils.
then clean with alcohol best as possible.
I filled the inside with RTV silicon, non- conductiveor corrosive to electronics, Dow corning 3140 / 3145 will work.
usa a small plastic piece like a q-tip without the cotton and work the RTV into the coils so it fills it fully.
let it dry 24hrs is not uncommon.
then resolder it on the board,,,,
Done...
Not sure what the filler wax stuff was, but in all my yrs never saw thatused.
