]My IBM PCjr has arrived!. Got it on Ebay. Original Boxes books, disks and even the orig Packing slips. 128k. Gonna go down the basement and bring up my box of Jr software. So exited! Like seeing an old friend. Heads up. I will post to the appropriate area later but could use a Teckmar, or Jr-Ide or sompim sompin. Got Ebay searches for these but ifin you got some stuff stached and are feeling kind and generous..... I got Money, time for a new flatscreen? just sayin....

I would start with the cheaper and easily available add ons first if you plan to see what these machines are capable of. You'll add a lot of functionality for very little money. The exotic stuff costs a lot more and there is fierce competition for it. You'll end up losing a lot more auctions than you win and it can be frustrating to have an unexpanded machine that has only minimal functionality.
